?I had so many problems with my eyes in the past. They were always watering and red. It felt as if there was sand in my eyes all the time. Dr. Krys treated me for dry eyes with those special plugs. During my routine eye exam for glasses, Dr. Krys Gwizdak noticed that my eye pressures were running higher than usual and that there were some changes in the back of my eyes showing possible high blood pressure. With additional testing, it turned out that I do not have glaucoma, but my blood pressure was too high and I needed to be on medications to control it. In the past few years I was having lots of trouble with my contact lenses. They were bothering me so much, especially while working on the computer. I eventually stopped wearing them all together. A co-worker of mine, who had the same problems recommended me to Dr. Gwizdak at Sea View Optometric. Dr. Krys patiently explained to me that my problems were a result of dry eyes. He refit me into contact lenses specially designed for people with dry eyes. Although things improved, my eyes would still get a little red at the end of the day and I needed to use a bunch of those darned rewetting drops. I wanted to tell you how happy I am with my new glasses. The everyday glasses are extremely comfortable, especially for a bifocal lens. I am happy that Jeri recommended a polycarbonate lens. However, I am most impressed with the intermediate glasses for reading and computer use.
